The 1986 murder of Lynnea Gran gets national attention Wednesday night.

The murder, which took place in Les's Grocery in Billings Park, is featured on Court TV's "Forensic Files" The program shows how experts piece together evidence to solve crime.

In February, producers of the show traveled to the Twin Ports to interview Superior police officers involved in the initial and 2004 investigations of the murder. Analysts at the Wisconsin Crime Lab were also interviewed in Madison.

In 2005, Lynnea Gran's son, Rodger Allen Gran, was arrested for the murder, and later pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of second-degree murder.

A new interpretation of old evidence helped solve the murder. Entitled "All in the Family" the show makes its debut at 8 p.m. on Court TV, Channel 50 in the Twin Ports.
