The Superior Police Department believes that our effectiveness in addressing the problems that impact the quality of life in our community requires an exchange of information with the members of the community. I've found these conversations with community members to be enjoyable and valuable. With this same spirit in mind, we're asking for your help in locating three offenders who have eluded our efforts to apprehend them.

Here are three of our most wanted for felony crimes committed in Superior and/or outstanding felony Douglas County warrants.

Keith C. McDonald, born in 1990, is wanted for domestic abuse battery and damage to property, violation of court ordered restraining order, and false imprisonment. He's also wanted on a felony warrant for bail jumping and a warrant for knowingly violation a domestic abuse protection order.

Jesse A. Mullikin, born in 1983, is wanted for felony battery and strangulation. Arrested.

Jason L. Varela, born in 1985, is wanted for domestic abuse battery and intimidation of a victim. He had a felony warrant from Wisconsin Department of Corrections for probation violations.

If you have any information on the whereabouts of any of these individuals, please call 911. If you are worried about remaining anonymous, when you call 911, request to remain anonymous and you do not have to give your name.

After all, we're "working towards positive change through community partnerships."

Community Policing Officer Bonnie Johnson shares information with the community. You can leave a voicemail for her at (715) 395-7401. Her column will appear on the first Friday of each month in the Superior Telegram.

Editor's note: Mullikin was arrested after this column was submitted for publication.
