Superior officials have created a 20-year vision to guide planning and community decisions, and the community will have a chance to learn more about it during an open house from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1, in the Government Center Atrium.

The Comprehensive Plan 2020-2040 sets goals and implementation strategies for transportation; housing; community facilities and utilities; land use; agriculture, natural and cultural resources; economic development; coastal resources; hazard mitigation; and intergovernmental cooperation.

The plan was developed over the last year with input from the community.

The plan commission will hold a public hearing on the comprehensive plan at 4 p.m. Dec. 15 in the Government Center boardroom.
