The city’s website got a face lift.

It’s a new design formatted to be more friendly for mobile devices - smart phones and tablets, said Dan Shea, information services director for the city.

"This is an exciting time for the city, its employees and for the citizens of Superior, as this newly re-designed website offers quick and easy access to essential information and features", said Mayor Bruce Hagen.

The redesigned site allows users to view city council meetings, apply for employment vacancies, pay environmental fees for sewage, storm water, recycling and garbage, or sign up to receive "news flashes" from the city by email or to a mobile device.

To see the changes for yourself, go to www.ci.superior.wi.us . The new site was launched late Thursday afternoon.
