Ashley E. Cornell, Barnes, a junior majoring in psychology at Heidelberg College, Tiffin, Ohio, is among 416 students named to the fall semester dean's list.

University of Wisconsin

Madison

The University of Wisconsin-Madison has recognized students named to the dean's list for the fall semester of the 2007-2008 academic year. Area students named to the list were Sarah Anne Rowe, Lake Nebagamon; and James Thomas Lund, William Joseph Maki, Joshua James Nelson and Sean Philip Seyler of Superior.

Winona State University

Carey Marie Kroll, Poplar, has been named to the fall semester dean's list at Winona (Minn.) State University.

University of Minnesota Duluth

Many northwest Wisconsin residents are among students at the University of Minnesota Duluth named to the university's fall 2007 dean's list recognizing academic achievement. Michael A. Nagel, Poplar, is among more than 1,300 students were placed on the fall 2007 dean's list at Michigan Technological University in Houghton.

University of Wisconsin

Eau Claire

The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire has named 1,681 undergraduate students to its dean's lists for fall 2007-2008.

They include Sarah Leuck of Gordon; Ashley Miller, Lake Nebagamon; Jeffery Stovern, Poplar; and Carla Borstad, Cari Colegrove, Frank Emmert III and Ashley Waterman of Superior.

University of Wisconsin-Stout

Several local and area students received the Chancellor's Award for the fall 2007 semester at the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menomonie.

They include Lydia Tuura, Brule; Laura Johnson, Poplar; Cassandra Grubbe, Solon Springs; and Katy Eisenmann, Melissa Persons, Anna Sorensen, Benjamin Sorensen and Patrick Stariha of Superior.

Management

Kristie J. Moon and Eric Robert Semborski of Superior, were among students named to the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management fall semester 2007 dean's list.
