The rosters for the Superior High School boys and girls hockey teams have been set and the Spartan girls will be first to test the waters when they compete in the Fond du Lac tournament tonight and Saturday.
The SHS girls will take on Appleton at 7 tonight and Onalaska at 10 a.m. Saturday.
The Spartan boys' first action will be at Monday's Lake Superior Jamboree, which will take place at the Mars Lakeview Arena in Duluth.
Superior will play against the Proctor Rails from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Other match-ups include Duluth Central vs. Ashland, 5:30 p.m.; Hermantown vs. Cloquet, 7:30 p.m.; and Duluth Marshall vs. Duluth Denfeld, 8:30 p.m. Each mini-game will consist of two 11-minute periods.

There is an admission fee of $5. All proceeds will benefit members of the Lake Superior Conference.

Seniors -- Tim Smith, Mike Plummer, Cole Lundgren, Vance Plunkett, Noah Gilbertson, Cory Wilander, Andrew Mattson, Wade Berkseth, James LaPine and Kyle Johnson.
Juniors -- Taylor Leuthner, Pat Dalbec, Dan Kolenda, John LeDoux, Nate Miner, Kyle Walkowiak and Matt Miller.
Sophomores -- Joel Pettingill, Andrew Dalbec, Dallas Berthiaume, Sean Hoff, Justin Cannon, Andrew Bronson, Chris Bishop, Delaine Goodell, Kellen McCoshen, Kyle Wilander, Kyle Halom, Mitch Kontny, Jake Mergen and Tyler Plunkett.
Freshmen -- Jake Tollas, Blake Kolenda and David Dalbec.
Jason Kalin is the head coach of the boys team, assisted by Pete Flaherty, Phil Karaba, Greg Aker, Ryan Hendry and Geoff Torzewski.

The Spartans' first home game is at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23 against Fond du Lac.
