SHS holds commencement ceremony Saturday

The 44th Commencement Ceremony of Superior High School begins at 7 p.m. Saturday in the school gymnasium. Parents and friends of the graduates may enter SHS through the faculty parking lot entrances as well as the North 28th Street entrance. The North 28th Street Loop will be reserved for handicapped parking only, although it may be used as a drop-off area for non-handicapped attendees. Parents and friends are reminded that admission is by ticket only and SHS and the surrounding school grounds are smoke-free.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

Amber Holmes, valedictorian, presents a speech, as well as Megan Dalbec, salutatorian.

Following the presentation of the senior class by Principal Kent Bergum and acceptance of the class by Superintendent Jay Mitchell, school board members will present diplomas.

An all-night graduation party for the graduating seniors begins at 11 p.m. in the school.
