The Superior High School girls golf team finished third with a 3-under par 69 Friday at the River Falls scramble.
The Spartans were 2-over par through 11, but rallied for four consecutive birdies and five total in their last seven holes. "I'm proud of the way the girls battled. It was a nice team effort," SHS coach Dan Schulz said.
After competing in Eau Claire today, the Spartans are at Spooner at 4 p.m. Tuesday and the Northwestern Invite 9 a.m. Wednesday.
