A video camera caught footage of a man trespassing on the Great Lakes bulk carrier the Edward L. Ryerson Sunday. The laker, which is owned by Central Marine Logistics, was berthed at Barko Hydraulics at the time of the incident, according to the Superior Police report.

The suspect, a white male in his 20s wearing a black Northface baseball cap, was seen carrying an empty backpack. In later video footage, he was seen carrying a ship's axe and a full backpack. It was not clear what, other than the axe, was missing from the ship.
