Sherri Rae Hoffman, 53, a resident of Gleason, Wis., passed away on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008.
The former Sherri Larson was born Dec. 1, 1954, at Sioux City, Iowa to Felix and Elaine Larson. She graduated from Spooner High School in 1973. On Feb. 27, 1993, she was united in marriage to Ken Hoffman. She was employed by Sawyer County Courthouse where she worked in the Register of Deeds office, treasurer's office, and the computer department. She was employed by Shield Appraisal in Merrill for the past 14 years. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Gleason.
Survivors include her husband, Ken; two sons, Craig (Nicole) Schlapper, Hayward, Chris (Shavon) Schlapper, Shell Lake; one stepson, Mike (Andrea) Hoffman, Gleason; one stepdaughter, Andrea (Terry) Vosburgh, Merrill; father, Felix Larson; stepmother, Dolores, Trego; one brother, Brad (Jenny) Massengill, Superior; twin sister, Terri (Mark) Parker, Baraboo, sister, Lorri (Mark) Lorentz, Eau Claire; two grandsons, three stepgrandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Elaine Larson and two grandsons, Dayne and Drew Schlapper.
Visitation begins at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Dahl Funeral Home in Spooner with memorial services following at 1 p.m. Corrine Anton, cousin, will officiate.
