Grandparents Raising Grandchildren support group hosts an open house from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Northern Lights Family Resource Center located at Northern Lights School, 1201 N. 28th St., Superior.

The Amnicon Seniors of Wentworth have scheduled a variety of activities for May. The center is open Tuesday through Thursday with meals served each day at 11:30 a.m. Seniors planning to partake of the meals must make reservations by noon the previous day.

The month's activities include:

May 1: Exercise class at 10:45 a.m. and games at 12:30 p.m.

May 3: Senior board meeting at 10:30 a.m. and games at12:30 p.m.

May 5: Isle Vista bus trip leaving at 8:30 a.m.

May 8: Exercise class at 10:30 a.m., speaker at 11:45 a.m. and games and birthday party at 12:30 p.m.

May 9: Martha Circle meeting at 10:30 a.m.

May 14: ARCDC nutrition luncheon at noon in Rothwell Student Center.

May 15: Exercise class at 10:45 a.m. and games at 12:30 p.m.

May 20: Potluck lunch at 12:30 p.m. and bingo at 1:30 p.m.

May 21: Sunshine Club meets at 11:30 a.m. for lunch at C's Restaurant.

May 22: Exercise class at 10:45 a.m. and games at 12:30 p.m.

May 24: Games at 12:30 p.m.

May 29: Exercise class at 10:45 a.m. and games at 12:30 p.m.

May 31: Hearing clinic from 9 a.m. to noon.

All seniors are welcome to all activities.

'Incontinence' topic

of St. Mary's program

"Incontinence" is the program to be presented May 10 at St. Mary's Hospital of Superior. The 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. program is held in the hospital's Community Room on the lower level and the $8 fee includes lunch.

Speakers are Dr. Mark Widstrom and Diedre Gaynor-Peterson, an exercise specialist.

Registration should be made by Friday at 786-2465. Cancellations should be made at the same number. All interested persons are welcome.

The program is being sponsored by St. Mary's Hospital of Superior Auxiliary, St. Mary's Medical Center, Duluth and St. Mary's Medical Center Auxiliary.

Dementia support

offered in Superior

Dementia Support Group meets at 12:30 p.m. May 14 at Golden Living Center, 1612 N. 37th St., Superior. The group is designed for caregivers and family members. For more information contact Kelli at the Alzheimer's Association, (218) 733-2560.
