The Richard I. Bong Veterans Historical Center raises a flag in a veteran's memory on a Friday and the flag is lowered the following Friday.
There is no cost for the program flag-raising ceremony.
A biography and picture of the veteran to be honored are required, but there are flags available that can be flown for a veteran if the family is unable to send one.
