Housing professionals won't want to miss the housing discrimination seminar sponsored by the Coalition for Advancement of Fair Housing.

What you don't know could affect your bottom line.

Speakers during the day-long seminar include Jaime Pedraza, with the U.S. Housing and Urban Development Fair Housing office in Minneapolis, and Bob Brytdahl, interim human rights officer in Duluth.

Whether you rent property or provide other housing-related services, you need to know who is protected under federal and state law when it comes to knowing what is discrimination and what is not before you learn the hard way the severity of Fair Housing violations.

The seminar runs 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. June 21 in the Rothwell Student Center Ballroom. Registration is $75, but you can save $15 if you register before June 1. Scholarships are available. Lunch and materials are included. Call (218) 393-2234 for more information or to register.
