The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth confers a record number of bachelor's degrees and awards its first doctoral degrees at the college's spring 2007 commencement on Sunday.
The ceremony begins at 2 p.m. in the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center Arena.
A total of 492 bachelor's degrees and four master's degrees will be awarded.
Karen Bell Alworth will deliver the commencement address. She is a member of the College's Board of Trustees and led the recently concluded Imagine Tomorrow fundraising campaign, the largest the college has undertaken.
The campaign raised $34.8 million -- 12 percent more than its goal -- and concluded six months ahead of schedule.
