Lori Ryan, daughter of Marla and the late Roger Ryan of Superior, and Adam Dargatz, son of Jackie Dargatz and Chuck Bowen of Saginaw, Minn., were married at Barker's Island on Aug. 15, 2009, with Douglas County Judge George Glonek presiding. They later had a reception at Lost Isle in Carlton, Minn.
Both the bride and groom are employed at the Duluth Regional Care Center.
For their honeymoon they rented a houseboat on Birch Lake in Babbit, Minn.
The couple became engaged two years ago on Valentine's Day.
