Retired and Senior Volunteer Program staff are inviting community members to see their new offices Monday.
An open house runs noon to 3 p.m. Monday at the RSVP office, on second floor of the Catholic Charities Building, 1416 Cumming Ave.
The event is sponsored by the RSVP Advisory Council and will be a time for RSVP members and all other interested community members to visit the new offices of director, Jo Nurminen and program coordinator, Teresa Clayton. The event also offers a chance for people to learn how RSVP responds to community needs.
Last year, RSVP volunteers filled critical needs at 51 non-profit sites in Douglas County. Their contribution of time assisted the sites to extend additional outreach services to more than 40,000 adults and children. The need for volunteers continues to grow and RSVP is seeking volunteers for the program.
Light refreshments will be served. For more information, call RSVP 394-4425.
