73, Superior, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2007, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth.
Royce was born in Walhalla, N. D., at the family farmhouse, on Nov. 1, 1934, the son of Yvonne (Loungton) and Thomas McKinnon. He worked for Peavey Elevators as a millwright.
Royce is survived by his children, Royce H. (Jodi) McKinnon, Roxanne (Shawn) Nephew and Darrelette "Bucky" McKinnon, all of Superior; grandchildren, Joshua Dembroski, Mckenzie McKinnon and Dylan Nephew; sisters, Donna Anderson and Mig (Kenneth) Anderson; brothers, Dion and Dennis McKinnon; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents and two brothers.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. memorial service in Downs Funeral Home Chapel, 1617 N. 19th St., with the Very Rev. Daniel J. Dahlberg, rector of Cathedral of Christ the King, officiating.
