Rodney "Jim" Peterson, Tulsa, Okla., formerly of Superior, died Friday, Oct. 26, 2007.

Born Dec. 23, 1943, in Hibbing, Minn., he grew up in Superior and was a U.S. Army veteran.

He was a locksmith for the University of Tulsa.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Peterson; daughters, Diane (David) Otto and Sharon Peterson; a son, Eric (Maleaia) Peterson; eight grandchildren, Nicole Peterson, Matthew Peterson, Michael Otto, Nicholas Otto, Nancy Otto, Margaret Otto, Zachary Otto and Jeffrey Otto; a brother, Ronald (Shirley) Peterson, Superior; four sisters, Ruth (Jack) Gallagher and Rosealee Foote, Superior, Roseanne (Dick) Lally, Mequon, Wis., and Robin Cathers, Kennesaw, Ga.; sisters-in-law, Nancy (Roy) Peterson and Wanda (Richard) Peterson; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services were conducted Oct. 31 in St. Marks United Methodist Church, Tulsa. Arrangements were by Midtown Tulsa Funeral Home.
