After being awarded "Kiwanian of the Month" in October, Jodi Rochon was presented Thursday with an award for her club from Kiwanis International.
The Superior Club won first place in an international newsletter competition. It competed among 8,000 clubs in 96 countries. Rochon said she was honored to receive an international award.
"I enjoy the creative aspect of creating the monthly newsletter. More importantly, this is yet another way I can help my club. Giving back to my community through Kiwanis is very important to me. I feel very blessed to be part of such a wonderful club."
Rochon is administrative assistant for the Superior Business Improvement District.
