Robert E. Seafolk

Robert E. Seafolk, 71, Embarrass, Minn., died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008, at St. Mary's Medical Center, Duluth. He was born Oct. 24, 1936, to Elwood and Elsie Seafolk in Duluth.

Robert E. Seafolk, 71, Embarrass, Minn., died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008, at St. Mary's Medical Center, Duluth. He was born Oct. 24, 1936, to Elwood and Elsie Seafolk in Duluth.

Bob grew up in West Duluth and attended Denfeld High School. He served in the U.S. Navy Seabees during the Korean War. Bob also served in the Merchant Marines.

He worked at Reserve Mining in Babbitt, Minn., and as a truck driver. Bob was an active member of the American Legion.

Bob had a great sense of humor; he loved flashy cars and his Harley. He had a big heart, always protected the less fortunate, and helped those in need.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Bob is survived by his special friend and devoted companion, Shiela Erickson; son, Charles (Tammy) Seafolk; four grandchildren; sister, Janet (Bob) Dalbec; stepchildren Ginger and Scott Wennberg, Willie McMannis, Dixie Moulton, Robin McDaniel; nine step-grandchildren; extended family and friends.

Memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4100 Grand Ave., Duluth, 624-5200.

There will be a visitation one hour prior and a reception following. Military honors accorded by the Duluth Combined Honor Guard.
