Robert Dennis Soar, 76, of Lauder Hill, Fla., died on Wednesday, May 16, 2007, in Lauder Hill.
Robert was born in Winnipeg, Canada, on May 1, 1931, and had resided in Superior from 1965 to l982. He had been employed as a newscaster for WDSM. Robert was a former member of the Mason Order and had lived in Florida since 1982.
Survivors include three sons, David (Chamary) Soar, Spain, Brian (Kathy) Soar and Derek (Jayne) Soar and a daughter, Beth (Pat) Schoen, all of Superior; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Cremation and services were held in Florida.
