Robert A. Hilpipre, a resident of Solon Springs, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2006, at his home.
Surviving are his wife, Jean, to whom he was a very loving and devoted husband. Robert is also survived by a sister, Roberta Papineau, Superior; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, Robert Charles, sisters, Nora, Linda, Elsie and Louise, a brother, Charles, and his parents.
Robert retired from Koppers Industries. He was an avid fisherman and hunter who loved the outdoors. He loved to stop and talk to people wherever he was.
No funeral services are planned. Downs Funeral Home is assisting the family.
