53, longtime Brule area resident, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2007, at the Golden Living Center, Superior.

He was born in Superior Sept. 7, 1954, the son of Raymond and Josephine (Mikloczak) Luostari.

Ricky was employed by the Burlington Northern Railroad.

His greatest joy was four wheeling with his dog, Speckles.

Richard is survived by his two daughters, Lacey (Ron Jasim) Luostari, St. Cloud, Minn., and Lauren Luostari, Maple, and their mother, Susan Anderson. He is also survived by his mother, Josephine Saari, Superior; four brothers, Ronald (Paula) Luostari, Maple, Walter (Barbara) Luostari, California, George Luostari, Florida and Matthew (Shelby) Saari, Maple; two sisters, Wilma Kerley, North Carolina and Carol (Ben) Nygaard, Maple; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Ricky will be greatly missed by his family, friends and his dog, Speckles.

He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Luostari; and two brothers, Raymond Scott and Steven Dale Luostari.

A gathering of friends and family will be at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Faith Lutheran Cemetery, Maple, with a graveside service at 1 p.m., with Pastor David Kebschull of Zion Lutheran Church, Superior, officiating.

The Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home, 1209 East Fifth St., Superior, is assisting the family with arrangements.
