Registration due Sept. 21 for HCE program

Irish food and culture are the highlight of a presentation at the Superior Public Library next month.

Linda Bruce, family living educator with the UW-Extention office in Douglas County, has traveled to Ireland several times over the past 14 years and her discussion Sept. 28 will briefly touch on some of her expereinces. A sampling of a few Irish dishes will be provided.

The event is sponsored by the Home and Community Education (HCE) group of Douglas County as part of their mission to provide educational opportunities, improve leadership abilities of members and offer service to communities. Membership is open to anyone.

There is no cost for this event, however, registration is required for limited seating. To register, call Rena at the UW-Extention office at 395-1363 by Sept. 21.

Consistent with the American with Disabilities Act persons who need materials in alternative format or other accommodation must contact Mary Becklund at 392-4369 with Douglas County HCE or the extention office at 395-1363 at least one week in advance.
