Registration is underway for the 33rd Grandma's Marathon, set for June 20 from Two Harbors to Duluth. Registration will be conducted online at www.grandmasmarathon.com .
The 26.2-mile race, with a field limit of 9,500 runners, has reached its capacity for 14 straight years. Last year, more than half the field was filled within 24 hours.
Grandma's Marathon weekend also features the 19th Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon (with a limit of 4,500) and the 16th William A. Irvin five-kilometer run (with a limit of 1,500). Lottery registration for the half-marathon opens Feb. 18, and registration for the 5K opens March 18.
