Pulling for youth football

Above, Superior High School football players including captain Kyle Walkowiak, right, pull weeds from the landscaping around the Anderson Lubricants Inc. building in Superior on Wednesday morning. The team was contacted by Anderson Lubricants distribution manager Mike Dodge and the money the team earned will be going to Superior Youth Football. Spartan coach Bob DeMeyer said the team would also be interested in doing some community service. The "Paint the Town" event that the team usually participates in didn't happen this summer.
