Two public meetings to present the streetscape design concept for reconstruction of north Tower Avenue take place Thursday. The sessions will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. in the third floor courtroom of the Old Post Office, 1401 Tower Ave.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation reconstruction project, an approximately $7 million undertaking, will stretch from Belknap Street to Third Street. The project is slated for completion in 2013. Thursday's meetings, sponsored by WisDOT, the city of Superior and the Superior Business Improvement District, will allow the public a chance to view and comment on the design.
