The Hurley Midgets left Solon Springs Monday evening with a pair of wins as they defeated the Eagles 13-1 in softball and 9-3 in baseball.
Softball
With the loss, the Eagle girls are now 2-3 overall and 2-2 in the Indianhead Conference.
Rachel Hanley, Salann Gilbert, Ciara Gilbert and Liz Sickler collected the only four hits of the game for the Eagles.
Hurley, on the other hand, racked up 16 hits. Kayla Windt, Jessica Shaefer and Brittany Gernejki collected three hits apiece.

Judy Nevala added a home run for the Midgettes.
Solon Springs will travel to Drummond on Monday.
Baseball
The Eagles baseball team trailed just 5-3 after six innings, but the visiting Midgets put the game away with a four-run seventh inning thanks to a home run and three doubles.
Dylan Levra, who had Hurley's home run in the seventh inning, was also his team's winning pitcher.
Jordan Armstrong pitched for Solon Springs, allowing 12 hits with two walks. The Eagles' also committed four errors.
Armstrong and Kyle Polzin led the Eagles offensively with a double, single and one RBI each. Billy Albano, Tyler LaRose and Sam Anderson added a hit apiece and LaRose knocked in a run.
The Eagles host Ironwood in a doubleheader at 4 p.m. on Thursday.
