Superior Police are searching for two men involved in an armed robbery at Payday USA Friday.

The two suspects entered the business at 1805 Tower Ave. around 11:15 a.m. Friday morning, displayed a handgun and ordered the clerk to the ground, according to a Superior Police Department news release. An undetermined amount of money was taken. Following the robbery the suspects are believed to have stolen the clerk's car. It was located a short time later abandoned within the city of Superior. The victim was not injured during the robbery.

The suspects are described as two African American men in their 20s. Both were described as being of average height. One was wearing a light colored tan hooded sweatshirt with a checkered pattern and blue jeans. The other man was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

The incident is still under investigation and no further information is being released. Anyone with information regarding the armed robbery is asked to call 911, the Superior Police Department front desk from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at (715) 395-7234 or the Tipline at (715) 395-7468.
