Superior Police are still looking for information about a shooting threat made against a Superior High School student.
On April 24, a letter marked "Give to police" made a threat about a drive-by shooting at the school. The letter, discovered in a mail box of a Billings Park home, gave no specific date when a shooting might occur. Subsequently, a second threat was made that identified a specific student. Police have not released the name of the student; however, the individual's parents were notified of the threat made April 30.
"We believe someone out there knows more about the threats, Superior Police Capt. Charles LaGesse said today. He said while police are following leads, none have led the police department to the author or authors of the threatening letters.
Police are still offering a minimum reward of $500 for information leading to suspect or suspects, LaGesse said.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Superior Police Department tip line at 715-395-7468.
