The Superior Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash.
Officers responded to a hit-and-run crash near the intersection of North 63rd Street and Tower Avenue at about 10:36 a.m. on Friday, according to the police department. Video footage of the crash showed the vehicle was likely a silver Honda Ridgeline and sustained front-end damage, and both front airbags deployed, according to police. The vehicle went northbound on Tower Avenue after the crash, but it was traveling southbound before the crash.
A vehicle slowed to allow a woman and child to cross Tower Avenue in a marked crosswalk when the suspect vehicle slammed into the rear of the vehicle without slowing down and then sped away, according to the police department.
The police department asks anyone with information about the vehicle or driver to call 911.
