The Superior High School Student Council and DECA teamed Thursday, Oct. 29, to host a pumpkin decorating contest outside of SHS.
More than 30 students signed up to paint pumpkins. The event was the first non-athletic school-sponsored event of the year. Students maintained social distancing and wore masks as they created their masterpieces.

Jed Carlson joined the Superior Telegram in February 2001 as a photographer. He grew up in Willmar, Minnesota. He graduated from Ridgewater Community College in Willmar, then from Minnesota State Moorhead with a major in mass communications with an emphasis in photojournalism.
