Twin Ports organizations promoting peace will be observing Mother's Day 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday in Canal Park, Duluth.
They plan to set up a table on the grassy knoll by the canal under the lift bridge, an area close to the entrance to the Maritime Museum. There will also be representatives at Amazing Grace and Sara's Table.
On Monday, the groups will continue their Mother's Day observance with a vigil from noon to 1 p.m. at the Army Recruiters Station on Superior Street in Duluth. Sign and banner holders are needed.
