A time of remembrance for Paul A. Hood will be from 4-6 p.m. Monday at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Rochester Chapel. His body was cremated.
Mr. Hood, 56, of Oronoco, Minn., died Thursday, May 24, 2007, of natural causes at his home.
Born Nov. 25, 1950, in Superior, he grew up in Oak Creek and graduated from Superior High School in 1967. He served in the U.S. Navy and returned to Superior where he married Roberta M. Norberg on Aug. 19, 1972. He was an entrepreneur and owned and operated Doc Hood's Auto Clinic in Superior.
He moved to Oronoco in 1990 and he was service manager at K-mart Auto in Rochester, and later was a driver for Gold Crown Limousine. He was an aircraft pilot, and was a scoutmaster and member of the auxiliary police in Superior. He enjoyed fishing, traveling with his family, autos and genealogy.
Survivors include his wife, two sons, Bradley S. (Kristina) of Oronoco; and Jeremy L. (Maretta) of Eyota, Minn.; four grandchildren Logan, Corbin, Kyle, and Kaitlynn; a brother Robin of Superior; and two sisters, Elizabeth (Michael) Wilson of Colorado Springs, Colo. and Beverly Pederson of Duluth.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
