Air Force Airman Eric Dolsen graduated with top honors from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio. The airman received the top ranking based on academic and physical fitness tests and an evaluation of his leadership skills, and ranked No. 1 of more than 700 graduates, said Staff Sgt. Andy Davis. He is currently in advanced individual training to be cargo plane crew chief. Dolsen is the son of Laurie and James H. Dolsen Jr., of South Range, and is a 2008 graduate of Superior High School.

Army National Guard Pvt. Joel B. Mueller graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. He is the son of Shelley Bacon of Ashland and 2009 graduate of Ashland High School.

Airman Erin M. Skaj graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio. She is the daughter of Lori Skaj of Mason, Wis. Skaj is a 2007 graduate of Ashland High School.

Airman Zachary D. Manthey graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Douglas and Angela Manthey of Drummond. Manthey is a 2009 graduate of Drummond High School.

Army Pvt. Zachary J. Dorfman has graduated from One Station Unit Training at Fort Knox, Ky., which included basic combat training and advanced individual training. He is the son of Heidi Misfeldt and Jeff Dorfman of Superior and is a 2009 graduate of Superior High School.

Army National Guard Pvt. Edward M. Bressette III graduated from the Fire Support Specialist Advanced Individual Training course at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. The field artillery specialists serve in intelligence activities including target processing in field artillery, cannon battalions, division artillery, artillery and maneuver brigade and headquarters and fire support elements. Bressette is the son of Edward M. and Roberta L. Bressette of Hayward and is a 2008 graduate of Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwa High School, Hayward.
