Nick William Halonen, 66, of Foxboro, died Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008, at his residence.
Nick was born in Superior on Aug. 18, 1941, the son of Doris (O'Brien) and Walter Halonen.
He was a former supervisor for the Manney Shopper.
He served in the U. S. Navy from 1958 until 1962. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Association.
Nick was preceded in death by his parents, and a son, Shawn Patrick Halonen.

He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Duane and Sandy Halonen of Foxboro; nephews, James and Mike (Emily) Halonen of Superior; grand-nephew, Johnny Halonen and many cousins.
All services are private with Downs Funeral Home, corner of 19th Street and Ogden Avenue, assisting the family with arrangements.
