National Bank of Commerce recently donated $170 toward the Meals on Wheels program run by Senior Connections.
The funds came from a monthly Denim4charity collection at the bank. Bank associates can wear jeans the third Friday of the month for a $5 donation.
The money is collected and the name of one of the participants is drawn. The funds raised go to the charity of that associate's choice.
The Meals on Wheels program delivered more than 37,000 meals in Douglas County in 2017, thanks to partners like National Bank of Commerce.
