A Minnesota man will spend nearly four months in jail for sending nude pictures of himself to a 15-year-old girl.
Matthew Thomas Harris, 29, of Pine City pleaded no contest in Douglas County Circuit Court last month to exposing a child to harmful material, a felony. He was sentenced to 30 months of probation and 120 days in jail. Huber work release granted.
Harris is allowed to serve the jail time in Pine County. He was also ordered to undergo psycho-sexual and mental health evaluations, register as a sex offender and have no contact with the teen.
According to the criminal complaint: Harris was a friend of the teen’s family. He sent nude pictures of himself to the girl by cell phone. The victim told Superior Police Investigator Jeff Harriman that she had sent about 20 sexually explicit images of herself and Harris had sent her about 10 nude images of himself through their cell phones.
