Having two daughters of my own, its gratifying to see a woman also in the running. All of the candidates have my admiration. It takes courage and fortitude to stick your neck out and run for public office.

However, four years ago there was another landmark election. The Republicans thought they could carry Wisconsin for the Bush ticket. The Republican party had endless financial resources to buy this election. But in northern Wisconsin we had something more precious then money. We had people, hundreds of volunteers that banded together to knock on doors, drop leaflets, and call voters until they were hoarse Nick was there, always in the forefront, cajoling, prodding and pushing. We ended up losing that election nationally but we prevailed in Wisconsin and kept our state beautifully blue.

The other candidates currently running for the 73rd Assembly District were conspicuous in their absence. They may have had other priorities or they may have been supporting other candidates. Subsequently I'm not sure what their convictions are. There is no doubt about Nick Milroy. I know where his heart lies and I know how much he cares for this area. He would work tirelessly for the people of northern Wisconsin and we would do proud to elect him.
