HOUGHTON, Mich. (AP) -- Michigan Tech's Eric Kattelus and Brett Olson each had a goal and an assist on Friday, leading Michigan Tech to a 3-1 win over Minnesota-Duluth in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.
The Huskies (5-21-1, 4-17-0 WCHA), in last place in the WCHA, trailed 1-0 heading into the third period after a goal by UMD's Rob Bordson in the first period.
Bennett Royer's power-play goal at 2:09 and Kattelus' at 2:32 started gave the Huskie the lead and Olson, a former Superior Spartan, added an empty-netter with 10 seconds left.
Kevin Genoe had 35 saves for MTU, while Kenny Reiter stopped 20 shots.
UMD (17-11-1, 13-7-1) entered the game one point behind Denver for the conference lead.
