Marian L. Larson, 84, formerly of Town of Superior, died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2006, at Eagle Street Catered Living, Coon Rapids, Minn.
She was born Jan. 6, 1922, in Washburn, Wis., daughter of Angela (Miesbauer) and Maurice Hansen.
Marian was a veteran of WWII, having served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
On June 25, 1949 she married Harold Larson.
During the 1970's she worked part-time as a rural mail carrier.

Her memberships included St. William's Altar Society, Douglas County Homemakers, Four Corners Garden Club and BN Vets Club.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, Harold in 2003 and brothers, William and Lawrence Hansen.
Survivors include daughter, Joanne (Jim) Garcia, Colorado Springs, Colo.; sons, Lawrence Larson, Foxboro, Jerome Larson, Tucson, Ariz., Jeff (Debbie) Larson, Superior, James (Yvonne) Larson, Ramsey, Minn. and Jon (Shari) Larson, Ramsey, Minn.; grandchildren, Cindy, Ben, Eric, Ethan, Evan, Grant, Marta, Britta and Trevor.
The visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Downs Funeral Home, corner of Ogden Avenue and N. 19th Street, Superior, with a wake service at 6:30 p.m. The visitation will resume at noon until the 1 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday at St. William's Catholic Church, with Rev. Father Ronald Olson as celebrant.
Burial will be in St. Williams Cemetery, where military rites will be accorded by the combined Thomas F. Stein VFW Post 1091 and the Richard I. Bong American Legion Post 435.
Pallbearers will be her daughter, Joanne Garcia, and sons, Larry, Jerry, Jeff, Jim and Jon Larson.
