A 27-year-old man from out of state died early this morning from injuries sustained at Wisconsin Point.
The man apparently fell off a recreational vehicle in the early morning hours, according to news release issued by Superior Police Capt. Matt Markon.
Police were called to St. Mary's Hospital in Superior shortly before 5 a.m. to investigate injuries the man received after being run over by a vehicle.
The subsequent investigation revealed that a group of 6 people were riding in a motor home on Wisconsin Point Road. Two men in the group were on top of the motor home as it was moving. One man fell from the roof of the motor home over the hood and was run over by the vehicle.
The injured man was brought to St. Mary's Hospital-Superior where he later died of his injuries.

Names of the people involved are not being released pending notification of family members. Neither the driver of the vehicle nor the deceased are believed to be from the area.
The investigation is ongoing.
