Lois M. Beutlich, 81, a resident of Hobe Sound, Fla., and Sturgeon Bay, Wis., died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006, in Tampa, Fla.
Born in Superior, she loved her family and was a compassionate friend. She was a teacher, a homemaker and world traveler.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred; her parents, Blanche and Lynn Wilson; her brother, Donald and her stepmother, Mildred.
Mrs. Beutlich is survived by her son, James R. Acker (Mona); stepdaughters, Jill Schneider (Paul), Beth Beutlich and Eileen Call; stepson, Jack Beutlich; brother-in-law, John Beutlich (Charlotte); stepsisters, Liesse Gauthier and Helen Miller; nephews, Terry Wilson (Bonnie), Allan Wilson; niece, Donna Sugano (Zen); 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Christopher's Catholic Church in Hobe Sound, Fla. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Habitat for Humanity, St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Birch Creek Music Center in Egg Harbor, Wis.
