SUPERIOR — The Superior City Council will consider a contract for marketing services to promote the city as a tourist destination at its Tuesday, April 19, meeting.
The tourism development commission approved a contract with Swim Creative Thursday, April 14.
Under the terms of the agreement, Swim Creative will develop a marketing strategy and outreach through Dec. 31, 2024, for a sum of $250,000 per year. The contract could be extended three years by mutual agreement and can be terminated without cause by either party with 90 days written notice.
The Duluth-based company is required to provide the city with quarterly progress reports that include key progress indicators.
The city council will consider the agreement at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Government Center boardroom.
