No injuries reported after shooting incident at Palace Bar in Superior

The Superior Police Department responded to a report of shots fired at the Palace Bar on Tower Avenue at 1:47 a.m. Friday morning.

SUPERIOR — No injuries were reported after an early Friday morning altercation at the Palace Bar resulted in a shooting incident, the Superior Police Department reported Friday evening.

According to a news release from the police department, a report of gunshots inside the bar was made at 1:47 a.m. on March 18. Officers observed that the glass from an exit door at 1108 Tower Ave. was shattered, and many people were leaving the bar when police arrived.

The Superior Police Department states that a physical altercation broke out at the Palace Bar and multiple firearms were brandished. At least one shot was fired, the release stated. No injuries related to the incident have been reported.

The incident remains under investigation. No individuals directly involved in the incident remained on the scene for police questioning Friday morning, the release said. The Superior Police Department asks anyone with more information about the incident to contact Detective Christopher Woolery or submit an online tip at .
