Aug. 23

Russell Alex Basley, 26, Bayfield, operating while revoked, amended to ordinance violation operate without carrying license, guilty plea, $248.60 fine.

Aug. 29

Steven Anthony Mickle, 28, Cloquet, possession of methamphetamine, no contest plea, 90 days jail, $518 court costs.

Jeffrey Scott Rantala Jr., 39, 1207 N. 13th St., Superior, two counts operating while revoked, amended to ordinance violations operate without carrying license, no contest pleas, $497.20 fine; two additional counts operating while revoked, five counts bail jumping, dismissed.


Mark Allen Remington, 40, 2719 N. 22nd St., Superior, domestic second-degree recklessly endangering safety, no contest plea, four year deferred prosecution agreement; bail jumping, dismissed.

Suzzi Ann Richards, 74, Duluth, retail theft, no contest plea, $589 fine and court costs.

Joshua Adam Shaffer, 37, 914 Tower Ave., No. 313, Superior, criminal trespass to dwelling, guilty plea, $589 fine and court costs.

Douglas Mark Vanpuymbrouck, 52, Duluth, retail theft-intentionally take, amended to ordinance violation shoplifting, no contest plea, $326.50 fine.

Nathan Daniel Yates, 18, Duluth, disorderly conduct, guilty plea, 60 days jail imposed and stayed, one year of probation, two days jail, no contact with victims, $516 fine and court costs, eligible to be expunged.
