"We have encountered an unfortunate rain-filled racing season riddled with precipitation on half of our Friday's and our drivers and fans have suffered," Erickson said.

"But that has not diminished their enthusiasm, it makes them hungry for a great weekend and we aim to please. Our driver payout will help attract some top notch drivers and their teams."
