Sleepout: From noon Saturday to noon Sunday, community members will spend "A night without a home" at City Park on the corner of Belknap Street and Tower Avenue. During that time, they will collect money, coats, sleeping bags and food items for organizations that care for the homeless -- Harbor House Crisis Shelters, the Center Against Sexual and Domestic Abuse and Solid Rock Safe Haven.

Concert: From 5:30-7:30 p.m., musicians hold a concert at Faith United Methodist Church, 1531 Hughitt Ave., to benefit the homeless. The event features violinist Erin Aldridge, pianist Beth Gilbert and soprano Hope Koehler. A silent auction will also be held. Items available include a football autographed by Green Bay Packers players and an American Girl doll. A reception follows the performance. Admission is $10 per person or $20 per family.

Workshop: A mental health and homelessness workshop takes place at the Superior Public Library. Information on the Bridges program, Children and poverty, mental health, services provided by St. Louis and Douglas counties and the role of addiction in homelessness. Cost is $20.
