LETTER: Roads and sidewalks are in terrible condition

To The Telegram,

I am now an East End resident. I just spent $872.52 on my car's front end. I hit one pot hole on the highway right next to the mall. The roads are terrible!

My daughter just totaled out her truck coming from work at Middle River. Hit a black ice spot and could not keep it on the glare ice road.

I have a friend who delivers papers and goes on these roads every day. They need sand/salt most of the time. My daughter is lucky she's alive! The side walks are worse. I need to walk 90 minutes a day, and you sure can't walk 90 minutes on these sidewalks.

Let's put our tax money where needed, not tearing down buildings like old Parkland and taking many jobs away from this dying town.
