To The Telegram:

I grew up in Solon Springs in the area where they are trying to build the archery range. I can't believe that the town board or zoning would honestly consider allowing the outdoor range and clubhouse. It is located next to residential homes and not only that but it is in walking distance from the school.

There are plenty of other locations that could have been considered that would not conflict with persons safety. I don't feel that is fair to the people who live there to not have a voice of what goes on next to them, especially when it concerns their fear for safety. I understand that not all arrows make their targets and people need to practice, however, would you want them practicing next door where your children and grandchildren play? Who is willing to play Russian Roulette? Not everyone playing will get hurt but someone will! This is not a game; it's personal safety.
